Father was the carrier of HCM and was a test study at NIH back in the early 1990's. Take 100 mg of Metrophol 3 times a day without any known side effects.     Has anyone done any further research on this article?
    Two patients suffering from hypertrophic cardiomyopathy were saved after Chinese doctors successfully performed minimal invasive surgery on them in two separate occasions, China Daily reported.

    The consensus among the specialists right now is that myectomy is still the gold standard for treatment, and that it will be a long time - if ever - before robotic procedures can replace it. I wouldn't take a news site's report of two procedures as very meaningful.
