  • my cat...

I was not sure whether to put this in the general section or here, as its
not really funny, but its not serious either.

it seems that Felix can how share his HCM experiences with my cat
A vet visit turned up a heart murmer in Chief. I know that cats do
get HCM frequently; this situation caused felix to joke around that
maybe we could get Chief an appt at NEMC

the vet may put him on Heart meds.. right now the HCM doesnt seem
to be affecting him in terms of getting up the stairs, etc. He is not
really eating much anymore at 13 years and has lost weight, though, the
vet doesnt think that the HCM is the cause. we are trying
antibiotics as it might be gingavitis

    Re: my cat...

I posted earlier that my son wound up in the hospital with hypertension, diabetes, asthma, and his echo showed a thickened septum. He’s on the standard beta and calcium channel blockers now, and although there was no announcement, we believe he has HCM.

In any case, he owns a cat, and I went to the pet store to get some Chup for his cat as a treat. I couldn’t find the Chup anywhere on the shelves, so I went up to the check-out line and asked where they stocked the Chup. Well, you can imagine my surprise when I was told that the pet store did not carry any cat Chup, and I was directed to the supermarket.
