    Husband has HCM.
    3 kids - ages 23, 21, & 19. All presently clear of HCM.

        OK here is the long and the short of it....
        My employer (the paying job ) Fred Kanter is a very interesting guy...he is in a fight with the town he lives in over displaying "artwork" in his yard.... the artwork is a boat attached to a tree 30+ feet in the air with Packard hubcaps running up the tree. The town he lives in is Mountain Lakes..known to be a rather "uptight" area...why HE lives there I have yet to figure out!
        Anyway they gave him a ticket..., which he fought in court and the town was found to have a law that was unconstitutional...he won and the boat can now remain in the tree.
        Yes this is a true story....
        He is building a structure of 300 bowling balls for his next project...NO JOKE!

        lost: 5 family members to HCM (SCD, Stroke, CHF)
        Others diagnosed living with HCM (or gene +) include - daughter, niece, nephew, cousin, sister and many many friends!
        Therapy - ICD (implanted 97, 01, 04 and 11, medication
        Currently not obstructed
        Complications - unnecessary pacemaker and stroke (unrelated to each other)
