I just wanted to post a little note to make my sister blush
In todays local newspaper ... for all the world to see... is my sisters name!
...Lynn Perry who bowled a 268 last Thrusday night!
Just thought I would share that with you all!
Lisa
Knowledge is power ... Stay informed!
YOU can make a difference - all you have to do is try!
Dx age 12 current age 46 and counting!
lost: 5 family members to HCM (SCD, Stroke, CHF)
Others diagnosed living with HCM (or gene +) include - daughter, niece, nephew, cousin, sister and many many friends!
Therapy - ICD (implanted 97, 01, 04 and 11, medication
Currently not obstructed
Complications - unnecessary pacemaker and stroke (unrelated to each other)
Not bad for two arthritic knees, wearing knee braces, and less than two weeks after a cordozone shot in the right knee.
Heck, my only goal in bowling this year has been to make it through all three games each week before the knees give out. Needless to say a 268/657 for someone with a 168 average was a nice added bonus. My life time high game and high series. And to think a month ago I was considering quitting bowling because of my knees!!!
Now my next goal is to break a 90 (closes I have come is a 93) on my home golf course. Oh, by the way which also happens to be the same course that the HCMA Annual Golf Outing will be held on!!! Gee, had to get that in there!!!
All that with bad knees!
So now are we to assume that once your knee feels better that you will actually have better scores.
Love hearing about great accomplishments, way to go.
Every great thing that has ever happened since the beginning of time has started as a single thought in someones mind.
So if you are capable of thought then you are capable of great things
Good luck and stay well.
Glen

yeah, but don't you keep a "foot wedge" in your bag and keep score like Dad? :P
268??? I may have to start bowling again just to best you now.
Way to go Lynn on the bowling! As far as the golf I wouldn't take your brother's comment too seriously. He who is afraid to accept his birthday round at your course for fear of having his butt kicked by his sister. Come on Larry set a date.
