  • National Day of Prayer

    Today is the USA's National Day of Prayer.

    I joined my town in a noon time prayer service that was very nice.
    I included all of you in my private prayers!!

    Peace to all!

    YOU can make a difference - all you have to do is try!

    Dx age 12 current age 46 and counting!
    lost: 5 family members to HCM (SCD, Stroke, CHF)
    Others diagnosed living with HCM (or gene +) include - daughter, niece, nephew, cousin, sister and many many friends!
    Therapy - ICD (implanted 97, 01, 04 and 11, medication
    Currently not obstructed
    Complications - unnecessary pacemaker and stroke (unrelated to each other)

    Thanks so much Lisa. I believe all the prayers we offer on behalf of those we know and thiose we do not know are an effective means of sharing the burdens we carry.

          I personally believe there is some superhuman force out there that looks out for us all, but whether or not you personally believe in a God, I have too often seen a force for good or evil being transmitted from person to person or from entity to entity to not believe these things happen. That said, . . .

          I wish you all good fortune in your day to day wrestling with your problems.

          (There I said it, and not once did I get maudlin or mushy.)
