  • Thank God for HCMA

Wow I found out about my HCM recently and have been floundering trying to figure out what to do. It is alot to deal with. I am so glad I found this site!! At least now I know I am not alone.

Lisa, I talked with you for the first time just a couple of days ago and you have already helped me so much. If I cant control the problem at least I can take control of my health care. Thank you SOOO much for the help!!

    Re: Thank God for HCMA

Gayle, I'm not Lisa, but I wanted to let you know that the feeling you have now, the empowerment, is exactly what we're after here. We want to help get rid of fears of the unknown and help people understand what is going on in their bodies so that they can take some control of their lives. Hope you have a great weekend.

        Welcome Gayle a fellow southener!
I see that you're from South Carolina, but since you've spoke to Lisa already I guess you're not heading to Charleston.
I live outside Atlanta. The lack of HCM specialists in the south is quite frustrating, although Lisa posted that a Mayo person moved to Jacksonville and that there was somebody good in the Raleigh Durham area.
All the best to you and your family. Let us know if any of us can help.
