  • A Penny For All of You

Remember this every time you pass that little penny in the parking lot.

I always thought that it was for Good Luck, but I love this version
    better:

I found a penny today Just laying on the ground.
But it's not just a penny, this little coin I've found

Found pennies come from heaven, that's what my Grandpa told me.
He said Angels toss them down. Oh, how I loved that story.

He said when an Angel misses you, they toss a penny down.
Sometimes just to cheer you up, to make a smile out of your frown.

So, don't pass by that penny, when you're feeling blue. It may be a
penny from heaven, that an Angel's tossed to you.

So now pass this on to the people who you care about and who you
    feel are Angels to you,

    I just did.
An Angel is now watching over you.

    Have A Great Day!!
    Pat

        Hey Linda,

Maybe that's why we found so many pennies at the AHA convention!

Yes, but they were all tails up. Does that mean anything to the Angels? Linda

            I love this version!

Lisa knows this part of my story I will share it with the rest of you. When Anthony passed away three years ago, I started finding pennies everywhere! It was almost ridiculous, they seemed to be everywhere I went, sometimes one, often many. Then someone gave me this version of the Pennies from Heaven story on email and it all made sense - Thank you Anthony! I told Lisa about it, and she started finding pennies from heaven, too. Of course, she thinks of me and Anthony when the little copper heads show up in the oddest of places. She found one the first day of the HCMA meeting this year.

On the 2nd anniversiary of Anthony's passing, July 2002, I was at church for the Sunday service. One of the songs performed by a guest artist was "Pennies from Heaven!" At first I didn't recognize the song because I had never heard it from the beginning, only the chorus (I like to think I'm still young). It was the most perfect song from the most perfect angels, here on earth and one heaven. I am so very blessed!

            Love and Light,
            Sharon

              Sharon forgot one.

The first time Sharon and I met, face to face was in my home office. I had just cleaned the office before she had arrived. After talking for over an hour - Sharon looked at the floor behind me - there was a penny on the floor, it was minted in 1991 -91 was Anthony's football number.

I think of Anthony often..and smile thinking of the wonderful gifts he sends to his mom.

              Big hugs to Sharon!
