  • God created the Florida Keys for those with HCM

Really...think about it...it is flat, it is warm, yet the breeze keeps it cool enough not to bother you, it is laid back, low stress and they really do not mind when you walk slow and best yet.... everyone has a bottle of water in their hands at all times (OK I think many had vodka too but that a different story!)
I think that the Florida Keys should be home to all those with HCM simply for medical reasons and those there now are just going to have to move north

Thank God for the Florida Keys!

    Lisa

I recommend the next HCMA meeting should be held in the later part of October in Key West. Talk about getting some heart rates up!!

For those who have not been to Key West. They have Fantasyfest every year as part of a Holloween celebration. And let's just say that some of the "costumes" get rather creative. Some "costumes" are nothing more than body paint.

Although, I live in Florida it is so much different than the central part where I live!

People always ask me where do people go who work for Disney go on vacation

            Here's your answer!

              Have a blast!!
I can highly recommend a few restuants:
Mile marker 100-ish Sundowners (at sunset)
Mile marker 89 ish - Snappers - again a good night time spot...
Mile marker 40 ish - Mombo Mamas - great lunch spot
KEY WEST stay away from Crabby Billies - several people I know got very sick there.
Key West - Hogs Breath is always fun - Billy's is nice and around the corner is a nice Cuban place very good food and a great deal of history too.
Stop by KINOS for the best $8.00 handmade sandels you have every seen, I still have a pair from 1979 that have held up all these years!!
They are 1 block off of Duval in a little side area - aske anyone where it is you will find it.
For more Keys information...Mom and Dad can chime in!
