  • Trying to figure out if I might have HCMA

I am 64, hypertension since age 40. Also mitral valve insufficiency, bad heart health family history, high cholesterol and triglycerides but controlled with meds. I had a recent PET cardiac nuclear stress test and it shows a 3% area of my heart that does not receive sufficient oxygen. Also an ejection fraction of 88% which sounds high to me. I was told in 2018 that I have mild pulmonary hypertension. I had an echo recently but will not know those results until April 2nd. Just wondering what this EF might mean. Previous EF in 2018 was 60%. Thanks for any insight.
