    [My visit to Tufs]

Thanks to Lisa and the information she provided me, I was evaluated by Dr.Udelson and his team of Tufs-New England Medical Center. Having been recently diagnosed with HCM I had many questions about my "condition", and I found these doctors more than willing to put my mind at rest and answer all of my questions. My husband and my son went with me. My son was screened for HCM and cleared. My condition was a little more serious than I expected, but I have been put on norpace 150 mg x2 daily. I must admit that I am extremely weak,my arms, legs, and hands feel like they are constantly falling asleep. I am told that it will take a few weeks to get the medication adjusted. It is hoped that medication will do the tick, however I am obstructed and my heart valve is blocking the blood in one of the heart chambers. Anyway, I am still learning about this condition. I wanted to, however, thank Lisa for all of her help. I have been so busy since I returned from Boston last week, and I am extremely tired in the evenings after work that I don't feel like working on this computer. Anyway, thanks so much.
