    [burning feeling in muscles]

    Author: Tracey (---.ynac2.core.supanet.net.uk)

I have HCM and find that simple excercise or everyday tasks leave me incapable of anything for some time.

After a simple task such as stuffing a duvet into a duvet cover the muscles in my arm are left with a burning feeling and I have to lie down for a few minutes.

Has anybody else experienced similar symptoms?

    Dear Tracy,

I don't know if it's the same as what you are experiencing or not, but I notice myself that certain tasks seem to really put a strain on my muscles. When I climb the stairs my legs ache, it's almost like a feeling of pressure in my legs, like I've been really exercising them or something. Is this what you're feeling? I don't know for sure whether or not it's related to my HCM or not but I've certainly never had this before. Hey, maybe my life would be easier if I lived in a house that had no stairs. Stairs are what cause me most of my problems.

    Take care,
