    [Another Official Announcement]

    Hi Everyone,

I am moving tomorrow and then I start a new job on Monday. I have been working from home since March and that will end on November 4. So that means I won't be checking the message board every 20 minutes from now on. Probably just every 3 hours! Ain't the web grand?

Anyway, I just wanted everyone to know that I'm not thinking of you all less, just liking to have a full-time job. Wish me luck, since I'm in atrial fibrillation and I have no idea how I'm going to pull this off till the amiodarone kicks in.

PS do you think they'll mind when I ask for a day off to have my heart rebooted? *grin*

Best of luck to you & just for insurance, I'll join the rest of your readers in offering a prayer or two for your health, your move & your new job!

Sarah, congratulations on the new job and the new house. What a great way to start the holiday season. Have a great time.

Good luck with the time off and the "rebooting". Just let them know that they need you to much not to let you take the time you need.

Sarah, it takes about a week or two to load up and get the amio to the proper level, since I have been taking it 200mg/day 7 months now I have not had one episode of AF and feel great so far.

I am checked every 3 months because of side affects re the liver etc. and so far so good, I hope you have as good a luck as I have.

Good luck at your new job and stay well.

Congratulations on your forward progress and re-settlement. Please relax and sigh heavily several times per hour!

If you wish hard enough and are going to be better off, the wish fairy will generally help u out. Also an unofficial thank you from a newbie--

    Dear Sarah,

Good luck to you in your new home and job. But with all this excitement going on, please remember to take good care of yourself, too.

    Best wishes,

I'm supporting you as much as you have supported me. I live in the northwest suburbs. We should organize a get together of Chicago HCM'ers after you get settled and I recover from surgery

    Dear Bob,

You stole my thunder. I was just talking to Lisa about this very thing only a few weeks ago. We will probably try and do something in Jan or Feb after the holidays shake out.

    Dear Everyone else,

Thanks for all the support and advice. You may have seen that nothing has gone smoothly at all, but it will all work out in the wash or wash out or whatever. I have a whole team of friends showing up Sunday to help me unpack and settle in, so I won't be freakin' exhausted for my first day on Monday.

Terri ---my new job is in DesPlaines, so we'll have to make it a weekend beverage.
