    [This weeks New England Journal]

    Author: Lisa Salberg (---.dyn.optonline.net)

There are 2 interesting articles in this weeks New England Journal - One by Dr. E. Braunwald - AKA the godfather of cardiology in the USA - and one of the 1st to work on HCM in the late 50's early 60's in the USA. It is just a general piece and is rather well balanced and may get the attention of the community docs. Funny thing was several weeks ago I was on the phone with him and he had just recieved our book and he told me it was good timing because he was writting an article on HCM! Although not mentioned in the article I know that the HCMA had a hand in getting well balanced information into the right hands at the right time.

Also there is a article on Ablations...the topic of the month it seems... I have not read it all as of yet... I will comment more later...

    Best to all!

    Lisa
