Hi, All,

Was just wondering if any of you suffer from 'night sweats' as part of the symptomatic 'package' of HCM.

As always, would appreciate your experiencs and input.

Night Sweats is your body trying to tell you something. Tell your Doctor about your symptoms. MY worst case of night sweats was when I came down with Endocarditis. It took 6 weeks of Doctor appointments when my 4th Doctor finally told me to go to the hospital in the middle of night and get my blood tested when I was having the night sweats. It finally came back postive for the infection.

Remember we are all different, this is just my experience. Please talk to your Doctor about your symptoms.

Good Luck!

Thanks for the input... no switch in meds, though in this case; so that rules that out.

Karla there are many reasons a woman may have night sweats... talk to your doctor as it may not be cardiac related.

Sorry, should have specified - it's not me with the night sweats, it's hubby. He has the HCM - that's why I was asking.

Well that would not be able to be explained away by female problems then...However there are other matters that may be causing this and what ever it is if he is sweating a great deal he is loosing fluid and can become dehydrated causing more cardiac problems...talk to the doc and see if you can work it out there.

let us know.
