Hi Aunt Linda! It was wonderful speaking with you & Eric today! I was delighted to learn that my dad told you about this wonderful web site and that you have been reading my postings! All this information should help you on Monday when you see your doctor! Well, good luck with your appointment and know that you are in my heart and prayers! Keep me posted and I will speak with you soon enough! I promise to email you pictures and visit with my parents after dad recoops from his procedure next month! Send my regards to the family and know that I love you! ~ Erica Beth Stolzenberg

Erica shared this story with me earlier and seeing as she is saying hello to her aunt I think it is ok to share it. Erica had not been in contact with her Aunt for many many years and it was her fathers diagnosis that made her reach out to share the information with the rest of her family. Her family came here to the HCMA for information and now will all be screened for HCM in the next few days.
BRAVO Erica - That is what real health care education is about!!
All the best to the entire family!
Lisa

And may I add that it is also what the HCMA is all about?

yes it's me,and what a wonderful thrill to speak to the part of my family that has been missing for so long. Strange because just earlier that day, my older son had questioned me about my relatives. The only thing that seems to repeat in my mind is you take lemons and turn them into lemonade. I am sure all will turn out just fine, your father's procedure will be successful,we have so much to catch up on....not only will a heart be repaired, but a family will mend itsef too!! With much love, Linda
