In an earlier thread I had talked about feeling bad but not realizing it until after you felt better. Anyway, that line of topic came up tonight when I was talking to my mom on the phone. My dad has been on Atenolol for a few weeks now and he told my mom he feels better. Strange isn't it. He didn't feel bad before and didn't have any symptoms, but he feels better. I am greatful for that and the fact that my sister finally got around to getting her echo done last week and she's all normal in the heart department.
I have decided that I've got to get dad any my son to a specialist. My son sooner than later. He just acts funny/different. It's the little things he does that bother me. I took him to the ER Monday night and I think the doctor pretty much thought I was nuts. He's 20 months old and he can't tell me what's wrong. The doctor said it was viral and sent us on our way. Maybe he had a bug, but there was something else going on. I felt like the doctor went for the easy diagnosis and ignored the heart issue.

Amy - I am glad to hear you are moving forward... I spoke to those people I told you about... call the office and I will give you a contact # and you can speak to them and make a choice if you wish to go or not... I do have other specialists....but for the reasons we discussed I think this is a good place for you...
Sorry to be criptic to the rest of you...but I do like to keep things private until "you" choose to make them public here...hope you all understand!
Lisa
