    [Gotta love today's health care!]

Just a little thought I would share with you guys. It made me chuckle at the time but was a bit scary all the same! I had to get a detailed physical exam done for my EMT course. Well my local docs were apparently booked for the next two months (they couldn't fill out the half sheet of paper because I've only been seen by that dr. about 12 times since February) (bit of a sore spot right now). So I had to go to a walk-in clinic for my exam. The Dr. came in gave me my physical and she said that I was completly healthy one of the best she had seen all week. I said I feel bad for the other people because they must be really sick. She looked at me all confused I told her about my heart condition and she turned about three shades of pale. Yet again I was about to get a clean bill of health! Maybe they should have people fill out a medical history form before they see us!

    Oh well just a thought!

    Mary S.

    Dear Mary,

Yet another example of why echocardiograms should be a part of athlete's and other strenous job physicals (firemen/women, police, etc).

I can only imagine her face!!
