    [Our New Look]

    Author: Lisa Salberg (208.47.172.---)

    Date: 11-26-01 17:50

Welcome to the new HCMA website! I know many of you were getting a great deal of use from our old message board. The format the board was set up in was not compatible with our new provider, therefore this new system has been created. I know it will take some getting use to but it will still allow the free and open communication. The content of the website will be changing over the next few months so I encourage you to all keep checking back in every few days.

Also I am asking you all to help the HCMA this holiday season by shopping through IGIVE.COM and choosing the HCMA as your "cause". Each dollar you spend on IGive.com will result in a donation to the HCMA...and your going to shop anyway so why not help the HCMA too!

I wish you all peace and joy this holiday season,

    Lisa Salberg

    President

Great look, Lisa! Thanks for providing this board. There was a thread here several days ago about pregnancy and hcm. Is there anyway to bring that thread back? Thanks.

    [HCM- Sports (McKie)]

I was just reading an interesting article on the yahoo news page about Aaron McKie of the Philly 75ers basketball team. The site is http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news/ap/...ers-mckie.html.

The reason i took so much interest in the article was for the facts they gave about Mr. Mckies heart condition, i realize it is very preemptive on my part but I just have the hope maybe the organization could reach more if such a popular icon had the condition. I realize this is eassier said then done, but I thought it was worth the idea to put it out there.

This also brings up the question of HCM and its relation to sports.
