  • Has your insurance carrier said NO...

Attention all HCMA message board members and readers:

    FOR UNITED STATES ONLY
Has your insurance carrier refused your request to see an HCM specialist or to recieve medical attention for your HCM (such as refused a myectomy, ICD implant, made you change your medication). Or have you been refused health insurance coverage or been give a price so high it is not reasonable to afford it. If so please contact the HCMA via email (please do not post the story on this thread). We have been contacted by a nationally known advocate doing a documentry on health care in America and they may be interested in featuring your story! There is NO promise that they will take interest in your case, but they are seeking to actively help someone get the care they need and for which the insurance company is standing in the way.

Send your story with the note
    ATTN: Insurance company said NO
    Email address: [email protected]

    Thank you!
    Lisa
