[For those of you with ICD's....]

I was reading on www.zaplife.org on the message board and evidently one of the women has named her ICD 'Dennis.' So I asked my kids if they ever had to get an ICD, like their dad, would they name it? My 10 year old daughter said yep, Brandon. My 9 year old son said Lisa. My 7 year old son said maybe Donny, Johnny, or John. They just had me rolling on the floor laughing at them. So then I go ask my husband if he has a name for his. (An Air Force doctor, Major Reddy, placed the ICD.) He said yes, major reddy, because if anything were to happen, the ICD is major reddy for it. I know this is a little long, not to mention silly, but I thought we could all use a giggle. Anyone else out there name their ICD?

I visit that site quite often and participate in the chat. There are actually 2 women that have named their ICD's. The other one has named her's Dick!
I have yet to name mine...I just think of it as my little personal paramedic.
