International Summit II - The Diagnosis and Management of HCM – Sudden Death and Athletes - October 4-6 2002

Minneapolis Marriott City Center Minneapolis MN

Course Directors Dr. Barry J. Maron and Dr. William J. McKenna

    Feartured Speakers include:

    Drs’ F. Checci, Italy – G. Danielson, Rochester MN – P. Elliot, London – N.A. M Estees, Boston MA – H. Kuhn, Germany – H. Lever Cleveland OH – M Link, Boston MA – R. Nishimura, Rochester MN – H. Seggewiss, Germany – P. Shah, Newport Beach CA – M.Sherrid, NYC –P. Spirito, Italy - J. Towbin, Houston TX - E.D. Wigle – Toronto Canada… and many more including myself!

This long awaited event is nearly upon us! Some may recall the Summit was to take place on Sept. 14 last year and due to the tragic events of September 11th it was postponed.

This event while designed for medical professionals is open to patients, familes and friends. The manner in which the subject matter is discussed is at a clinical level and if you should wish to attend it is important you understand this fact. Unlike the HCMA’s annual meetings, which are tailored to the needs of patients and families, the Summit’s objective is to inform the medical community and therefore met the needs of the medical professionals. There will be time to meet and speak to these wonderful researchers and clinical specialist, however one should not expect to have a complete consult on ones own health.

To Register for this Summit contact – Futura Media services at 914-273-1047 or by email [email protected]

I hope to see many of you at the Summit…also if we have ample HCMA member participation we will arrange our own get together while in MN!

    Best to all,

    Lisa Salberg
