    hey guys just went to cleveland to see dr. lever good doctor. i had a stress test done and apparently when i exercise my blood pressure lowers so he uped my medicine from 50 mg a day to 200 mg. he also mentioned i cannot have an epidural or a spinal while in labor but he will discuss other means of pain control the closer i get to delivering. i am suppose to see him monthly and he wants me to go to cleveland to have the baby. that is all that is new here

    You bring up a very good point - one that I will discuss with some of our docs. The dropping of your B/P would seem to show that with an epidural you will drop out your B/P (as I did 7 years ago..not a fun event!). I wonder if this factor alone can help those with HCM and dealing with a pregnany choose a birthing method?

    Interesting ,,,,, hmmmm more to research... never a dull moment!

    i am feeling tired and nauseous all the time but it is normal for being pregnant so i am getting use to it. otherwise almost all my symptons are gone with the medicine they have me on.
