You know one more thing? Medic alert started giving out emblems for the car window also. Many people have noticed that right away and asked me where I got it. If you do not have a car or drive I suppose you could put it somewhere very visible like wallet slot where the licence is usually kept or identification slot. This is a qick alert to someone as well.

        Hi Pam!

Where can you get one of these? I drive a great deal and have had some concern about this. I would think adding that to the car is a good idea but I don't see them on the MedicAlert web site.

I would also add that the purple sports bands or many other colors for that matter, are actually still very obviously a medicalert to an EMT. It is the shape that gives them away so readily. My partner has been an EMT for 22 years, and I showed him the sports bands and he made a good point. In an accident involving trauma, he beleived it could be overlooked in the heat of the moment. However, in the case of a HCM'er who dropped where the trauma is unkown he would be much more curious and said he would be looking closer and said he definitely would recognise the braclet.

          Hi Ya Doug,

Yes , just call them if it does not appear on the site. They sent mine with my renewal and then a second one shortly afterwards, when I updated my information. I update frequently on line as with my recent devise change and meds. I am sure they will send another along when they send the updated copy . If I see another and you do not get one , I will send it to you.

          My Best,

          Pam
