  • Meeting next year!

I'm hoping to make the meeting next year. Is it always the first week of June? I want to take my son to see Dr. Roy Nuzzo, a paediatric orthopedist, in Summit, NJ, for surgery next summer. I thought it would be great for me to come to the meetings and plan his surgery after them. How far is the meeting place from Summit, NJ and Overlook Hospital. If you're wondering my son was a 25 wk. preemie, 1 lb. 13 oz. at birth. He has very mild cerebral palsy of the lower limbs. He will be 8 on the 17th of this month and as he's grown his muscles have grown tighter and he needs some muscle lengthening for maximum mobitlity. He gets around fine now, but the drs. have said he needs this surgery in the near future. So, after much research and other CP parents on other lists, Dr. Nuzzo seems to be top notch and does the least invasive surgery w/ the shortest recovery time! Hopefully, this will all work out!

Summit is not that far from the site of the meeting. Not exactly sure how far but it would be less than a 1/2 hour (during non-rush hour).
