    Lisa,

What are the basic data concerning 'my' HCM I should ask my specialist? Data like wall thickness, gradients etc.

In a few weeks, I'll see my specialist again (following a trip to the ER in search for a conversion from AF to sinus - eventually some nervus vagus stimulation converted my back before they rolled in the crashcar ). I'm sure that subjects like ablation or so will float up again, but I want to do my own research before giving an answer (even before seeing another doc, since I want to build my own knowledge base).

What is your spetal measurement, your gradient, your free wall measurement, your atrial measurement and your ejection fraction. These pieces of information can tell you a great deal about the status of your heart and help lead you to some treatment choices.

    Good luck!
