    Hi everyone

I have been rather busy with taking care of my dad, he has what is called concentric hypertrophy without having HCM, I find that hard to believe since the disease comes from his side of the family

But anyway i have alot of appts next week, with cardio doc Monday, i'm not looking forward to it, i Know Dr. Brush has talked to Dr. Maron and being i haven't heard from Dr. Brush i'm not hoping for anything concerning the transplant list, and then i have to go get my breast smashed and then get a bone density test, my PCP thinks i may have Osteoporosis so what is going to be next

But back to my dad he is soon to be 89 years old, never had high blood pressure, so the thickness was not caused by BP, and his heart is huge, he has aortic valve problems and mitral valve and tricuspid, he had a mild heart attack 8 months ago so he is going down hill, he thinks the allergies he has is a cold and gets mad when cold medicines don't work, I think i'm going to call his doc tomorrow to see if there is anything he can take for his sinuses it is going to be tough being he is having some kidney failure, i know some meds will not be good for his kidney's, well i have to go make sure he has taken the rest of his meds for the day everyone i hope everyone is doing ok

    Hi, Shirley,
That is puzzling indeed about your dad. It sounds like an HCM specialist might want a look. What about taking him to Richmond?

I hope all goes better tomorrow than you think!

Shirley, sounds like you are doing a lot of caregiving on top of needing it yourself. Taking good care of our elder parents can be so challenging. Wishing you the best for both you and your dad--Lisa I.
