  • Conference hotel rates

I called the Headquarters Plaza Hotel today, and they said the special rates for the conference for HCMA members is now $119 a night.

Last year it was $89 a night. A $30 per night jump in one year????

Are there any less expensive motels nearby? Or can I get a cheaper room through some web site???

I think the weekend rate is $129 per night. It would seem that they could do a little better than $10 per night off for us-------

Liona - I know that Lisa was trying to negotiate a more reduced rate, but I don't know if she has been successful.

Hopefully they will update this with more info.
