Hey guys,
I got my 17th diagnosis this week – as a result of the testing initiated by all the strokes I’ve been having. It turns out I have Hyperhomocysteinemia (HHcy).
It is a marker for cardiac risk, stroke, renal failure, atherosclerosis, an independent predictor of mortality and a low left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) in patients with hypertension, coronary artery disease and myocardial infarction, - among other things.
I really don’t know if it can predict the weather, but there are so many things that are pushing my buttons I have become somewhat concerned about it. Does anybody here know anything about it, or how it might interrelate with HOCM?
By the way, I’ve heard a great solution to doctors who give you a hard time. First, take an orange and zest it thoroughly. Then peal it and eat the orange segments. Finally, take the zested peelings and place it on the doctor in question. In other words – Pith on him.
