    hi everyone I hope all is well.I just received a newsletter regarding a seminar at hofstra university on long Island.I would like to go ,and was wondering if anyone else out there was thinking about going.feel good mike OB. March 14, 4:30 pm

    I will be there! I hope to see many of you show up! I know it is a Monday and many of you have work and school - but heck play hookie and come see the Teague Ryan Act hit the press - we will also have some HCM docs on hand to answer some questions and families to share your experiences with.

    Dx age 12 current age 46 and counting!
    lost: 5 family members to HCM (SCD, Stroke, CHF)
    Others diagnosed living with HCM (or gene +) include - daughter, niece, nephew, cousin, sister and many many friends!
    Therapy - ICD (implanted 97, 01, 04 and 11, medication
    Currently not obstructed
    Complications - unnecessary pacemaker and stroke (unrelated to each other)
