Morning all,
I remember being told that my septum was sigmoid('S') shaped.
After looking around much of what I've found refers to this specific shape as being more often found in the elderly.
I know I feel old, but I am only 30.
I am wondering if one shape is more common than others - and is there any research that has been done comparing disease progression/SCD risk/symptoms/etc and septum shape?
Thanks
Pam

"HCM in the elderly may be familial, or non-familial and related to hypertensive hypertrophy and/or age related changes (sigmoid septum)"
Thanks
