    Hi Lisa,

I don't know the answer to any of those questions. He just said that he thinks it is a good idea that my heart be paced 100% of the time. I will have to ask him or his assistant when they call me later.

They are going to call me back today because I am still having the long runs of PVCs. Only now they seem to be a little less frequent.

I had many episodes this weekend in which I thought I was going to pass out. But I'm a little better now, I think it is stress. (?)

Why would they want to pace you? What is the goal of pacing? What type of pacing does he/she have in mind?

If your electrical system is working on its own and you are not pacer dependent I would suggest you get a 2nd opinion befor you do anything.

    Best wishes,
    Lisa

    started a topic 100% paced

    100% paced

My doctor is suggesting that I be 100% paced by my ICD.

Is that a good thing or not?

Are there many people here who are paced 100%?

What are the pro and cons? Please let me know, I appreciate you're help.

    Thank you for any information.

    Eileen
