      Hi, all,

Got back last night safe and sound and actually better than when I left! I guess I must have needed the antibiotic because I continued to get better along the way. I promised the doctor in Beijing to go to a doctor tomorrow here, so I'll call and let them check my chest. My feet and legs are swollen, but 23 hours on planes usually causes this, so I don't think it is particularly significant. I was exhausted, but slept well, and feel pretty good today.

              Rhoda,

23 hours on a plane. That would be enough to give any kind of illness. It bothers me to be 1 minute on a plane. Good to hear everything is going well...

The doc yesterday said I still have crackles in my lungs, but did not want to try anything further for now since I have completed the second round of antibiotics and am still improving. She suggested I stay home with my feet up and wait to see Dr. Gilligan next week and see what he says. That is all easy to do except the part about staying home with my feet up! It is hard not to hit the ground running when we have so many people to see and things to do. But I will try to be reasonably good at least until day after tomorrow when we have to drive to NJ to see Ed's mother and family.

Thanks to all for your encouragement!

BTW, Burt, I have no intention of going your route. Don't even think it! It is yours to keep, if you want it and I am sure you do not.

Lisa, have you visited that cemetary near your home? It is beautiful with an absolutely gorgeous view.
