Linda gave a great reply here so I will say "ditto".

Reenie, you've given good info here. A couplet, or 2 PVC's together is noted, but not really looked at as a big concern most of the time. Kathy, your doctor will review the whole thing and be able to tell you what it means for you. One couplet is not considered to be V-tach. Let us know what your doc says about it. Linda

Ventricular couplet
Two ventricular premature complexes in a row. This can be a normal finding, but is more suggestive of electrical heart disease than are single ventricular premature complexes.
This is the definition that I came up with on a google search. It means that your heart did 2 premature ventricular beats close together before another normal beat hit. Your doctor will tell you if it's anything to worry about, but I don't think by itself it's a really horrible thing. I don't think you want it, but I doubt it will hurt you. I hope someone will correct me if I'm interpreting this wrong.
Reenie

Ventricular Couplet
Not sure if this is the place to post this question but if isn't, please tell me where to post it.
I got back a copy of a summary of some of my even monitor recordings today and mostly there are alot of pvc's, sinus tachycardia etc. But one even said ventricular couplet. Can someone tell me what this means and if it is a dangerous arrythmia? thanks, KathyTags: None
