  • Oh!! My racing Heart!!

Well, my heart rate is up, but I don't think I'll do anything about it for now, since it seems I've fallen in love again! At this advanced age! Amazing, the things a successful ablation can do for a person!

Seriously folks, it's not going that fast, so don't worry about happy, happy me!!!!!

          Hi Liona,

Nice to hear of someone's heart going pitter-pat with good reason for a change! Oh... the arrhythmias of love!

And as an added bonus... we all get to feel 16 years-old again when it happens.

          Good for you, Liona...

              Re: Oh!! My racing Heart!!

Well, thank you for all your good wishes! I've seen him 4 evenings this week---I feel like a kid again, even though I'm 58 and have survived 54 operations---currently still busy managing my spina bifida, tethered spinal cord, insulin dependent diabetes and ostomy!

With this schedule, I never thought I'd have time to fall in love again! And he doesn't care about any of it! He praises me for my amazing discipline and vivacious spirits! His words, not mine!

              Will wonders never cease!!!!!

                Re: Oh!! My racing Heart!!

Sounds like you got bit bad.
I'm 56, so I would never consider 58 old, anyway, it sounds like your just starting to hit your stride.
Good Luck, he sounds like a great guy.
Every great thing that has ever happened since the beginning of time has started as a single thought in someones mind.
So if you are capable of thought then you are capable of great things
                Good luck and stay well.

Sounds like you found a "high quality" man. Congrats! I know there are some out there-I've got one of them! As I approach 57, I must say-you're not old just hopefully MATURE!

                    Re: Oh!! My racing Heart!!

Since we seem to be having an HCM 50's convention here, let me add that I also do not think 58 is old since I am 57.

                    Congratulations again!
