    Could someone please tell me what a normal potassium level mine is 3.1

    Son: John diagnosed 2004

    Shirley, Potassium level should be in the range of 3.5 -5.5. The normal range will vary slightly with different labs and their individual equipments and procedures. So yours is slightly low, ask your doc what the plan is. Bananas, potatoes, raisins, nuts are among the common foods that are good potassium sources. Linda

      Hi Shirley,
      The normal range for Potassium is 3.5 to 5.6 meq/L. You are just a tad low. You might try increasing your Potassium pills a little.

        Ok i have talked to doctor Harris's Nurse and she gave me the low down on what is going on with my blood

        My Potassium is 3.1

        CRP 14

        BNP 686

        She asked when i was seeing my doctor to let him know these numbers and i told her i would be seeing my PCP this Thursday
