  • Educational Video - ALL AZ & KS High Schools

Sure has been a busy summer! Several trips to great conferences and a golf tournament or two have kept me busy in the early summer months. Then lots of video duplicating, printing, colating, stuffing, stamping and mailing. Definitely a lot of work goes into educating others about HCM. Each one of us has a job to do, and we are not alone in our quest to educate others about HCM.

Plus, I was able to distribute my video & HCMA flyers to over 250 Arizona cardiologists. Many have since stepped forward to participate in our upcoming Phoenix heart screening event, August 28th. This also allowed me to speak with more Arizona high schools on the importance of heart screening in high school. Due to our summer campaign, we are moving forward to include another heart screening event in Phoenix this fall, October in Peoria, AZ.

If you would like to be a part of the HCM movement, start by talking to your community of friends and family on the importance of awareness of HCM. As Lisa has put is so many times...Education is Power! Let us empower our young people with the knowledge that could save their lives.

Blessings for a safe fall and power to all that try to prevent Sudden Cardiac Death in our young people.
