The 5th Annual HCMA members meeting is history! I would like to thank all those in attendance for making this the BEST event to date!

Our speakers were all wonderful, volunteers so helpful and participants were so involved! Everyone in attendance contributed to the conversation and in turn help so many others while recieving support themselves! BRAVO! We had a total of 106 people at this years meeting, the largest ever.

I am very tired as you can well imagine but wanted to post to all how grateful I am to all those involved for making this weekend such a success. Dr. Barry Maron, Dr. Mark Sherrid, Dr. Stephen Winters, Dr. Martin Maron, Kim Karpack and Lee Rouson our fabulous speakers...THANK YOU!

The Westin Hotel in Morristown NJ did a wonderful job and we thank them very much, we will be back again next year at the same location.

For now thats all.... I need some rest before the golf outing tomorrow!

    Best wishes,

    Lisa Salberg

    YOUR VERY proud President!

From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank you, Lisa, for everything. You pulled it together beautifully. I know you didn't do it alone, thank you everyone involved. You all must be exhausted. The meeting was great! I found it extremely informative. I also enjoyed putting a face to some of the names on the message board.

This organization means a great deal to me. The message board is a source of support and a part of my daily activities. I'm proud of the whole bunch of us!

    Hi

Just want to say thank you to Lisa and all who worked so hard to make the 5th annual meeting possible. It was great this year as it always has been. I've been to all 5 meetings and every year get so much support and information from it. It is nice to see some familiar faces from year to year.

Lisa, I was so sorry to hear about Carolyn. I remember her speaking at some of the meetings. She was truly a caring person and wanted to help others with HCM - just like you! I know you will miss her very much.

Thank you to everyone. Mary Ann

Thanks for the input everyone. I would like to hear comments and suggestions for future meetings - please email them directly to me. I know those of you who could not attend may feel a little left out...HOWEVER... We have arranged for Sarah Beckley to write up an overview of the meeting for publication in an upcoming newsletter. It is not like being there, but you will have access to the information.

ALSO... It was so wonderful to meet you ALL. Sitting in the office here at the HCMA gets a little lonely from time to time and it is so nice to be able to see you all (and the hugs are great too!)

Again, thanks, and I look forward to seeing you all next year, date to be announced soon! - lets see if we can hit 200 participants next year!

    Lisa Salberg

    President
