  • July 17, 2004 - Board meeting

Yesterday the Board of Directors of the HCMA had a wonderful meeting. We thank Morristown Memorial Hospital for providing a classroom for us to spend our Saturday in!

Our wonderful friends from The National Retired Executive Corp - Jim and Glynn assist us as facilitators.
We spend the day reviewing our goals, objectives, long and short-term goals. We have set the wheels in motion in order to have the HCMA provide more and better service to those with HCM, the medical community and the general public.

We will be looking for people to join the HCMA in various positions such as:
Committee members, project specific volunteers, honorary members of the board of directors and new board of director members.
Next week you will see more information on these positions and requirements for each. We are asking you to think of people you may know, who may be interested in helping out the HCMA, they need not have HCM, just a plain old ‘big heart’.

More info to follow next week.
Thank you to all of our board members for wonderful day!
