I have a question about my husband. He has HOCM, had alcohol ablation last Nov. and has been doing very well. He has been feeling sluggish lately, but it is hot and humid where we live and he perspires profusely. His heart rate has dropped down to 60 (it had been in the 70's) and the pacer kicks in. I am wondering if he is having heart block, also, if he perspires so much, what about electrolytes and potassium? I have been trying to get pacer phones checks established since last March, and the first one will be next Tuesday. Will the phone check tell what has been going on with his pacer? I appreciate any input or help.
