I met with my CHF DR. on Thursday to discuss the maze procedure and he and I came up with the agreement to go back up to Mayo at the end of the month and talk to the docs at Mayo. I will also see Dr. Freeman my HCM doctor while I am there, to see what my other choices are. The last couple of days with the heat and humidity have really been bothering me, and to top it all off they changed my verapimil dose on thursday and my blood pressure really dropped yeaterday. I really hate that beacause I had to let my 4 year old son down by not going to ball practice with him last night. I am feeling better today so far so hopefully I can go to his game.

Re: Maze Procedure
Hang in there Scott. I know things can be tough especially with a 4 year old. Someday he will understand, but right now it's harder on you. My oldest daughter graduated from high school 2 1/2 weeks after my Myectomy. I made it to the ceremony but with 778 kids graduating, I just couldn,t make it through the entire show. I was very disappointed. My daughter understood, but I was the one feeling the pain. So have faith and be strong, and things will work out for the best...

Re: Maze Procedure
Scott,
I hope your meds get straightened out...and it's good that you are going to Mayo to discuss the Maize procedure. I feel for you about your son's game. I had to cancel a trip to Maryland for my niece's graduation last month because I ended up in the hospital. I was upset but knew there was nothing I could do about it...hang in there, buddy! keep us posted\"It is not length of life, but depth of life.\"

Re: Maze Procedure
I had a really good day todaywent to Chase's ball game than went out and did a little fishing(didn't catch anything but had a great time. I'm going to go back to my old dose tonight and should feel pretty good tomorrow. Have Golf Course meeting on Monday and need to conserve my strength.
