You know, you are so right about the food being really good at the meeting. I've been trying to duplicate the marinade for the portabello mushrooms since Saturday night. Lisa, Kelly?? Is there any way to get the recipe from the hotel?

Healthy Food at the HMCA Annual Meeting

This year's conference was terrific in every way! One notable thing was the sumptuous hotel food was actually a healthy assortment! Plenty of salads and vegetables, chichken and fish, fruits for desert or something sweet for those who wanted to indulge.

I am certain this was Lisa's influence, but the Hotel deserves Kuodos as well!

I had been fearing the food issues at the meeting. I am diabetic and have other food didfficulties as well. For me, eating out has turned into an experience of trying to avoid the explosions in a minefield. Happily, I had few problems eating at the conference, which is very unusual!

Thank you again Lisa, for a wonderful meeting, program, hotel and food--all details so very carefully worked out.
