    I just wanted to let everyone know that the photo gallery has been updated and if you want to see pictures of our meeting, and get a peek at how some of us look, you can look in the photo gallery at the front of the board.


    Husband has HCM.
    3 kids - ages 23, 21, & 19. All presently clear of HCM.

      Hi, Margie,

      I am very curious about how "Hi I'm American" looks compared with "Hi I'm New Zealand." Can you explain. I looked at them and tried to ask how they look different from a group of Chinese at a similar meeting. These are the differences I came up with:
      There would be huge bouquets of flowers that all the honored people would be holding.
      The same people would be in the middle of every picture and there would be a lot more posed pics.
      The skin and hair colors would be different.
      Other than that I think everything would be pretty much the same.

      So, how does it look in New Zealand? Just curious.

            Yes, It was fun...very busy but very fun and EXTREMELY INFORMATIVE!!

            Knowledge is power ... Stay informed!
            YOU can make a difference - all you have to do is try!

            Dx age 12 current age 46 and counting!
            lost: 5 family members to HCM (SCD, Stroke, CHF)
            Others diagnosed living with HCM (or gene +) include - daughter, niece, nephew, cousin, sister and many many friends!
            Therapy - ICD (implanted 97, 01, 04 and 11, medication
            Currently not obstructed
            Complications - unnecessary pacemaker and stroke (unrelated to each other)
