Hello again. I was wondering if anyone else experiences upset stomach along with their HCM. It started for me about one year ago and it started with constant belching. I've been on amiodarone for about 12 years now so I'm kind of ruling that out since I've been on it for so long without problems.

I've had an echo and a endoscopy and everything checks out perfectly but for some reason I continaully feel bloated and belch. The odd thing is that I'll have a PVC followed by a berp and if I don't berp I'll have several PVC's in a row. Even last weekend I was having problems feeling bloated and not being able to release the air my heart jumped into A-fib for the first time in years. I ended up getting cardioverted so everything is cool now but the stomach problem remains and has me thinking that I'll go into A-fib again. I've tried everything from not swallowing air, changiny my diet, yoga to help relax but nothing has helped. Any ideas?

Have you been evaluated by an HCM specialist? 12 yrs on Amio is a long time - it may or may not be part of the problem. I think it is a reasonable thought to take a step back and look at the WHOLE picture - While I am not familiar with many people with the symptoms you have, I can say that "the hip bones connected to the leg bone..." and the WHOLE you needs to be looked at.

    Best wishes,
