Hi All,
I am fairly new here. My husband is 50 years old diagnosed with hocm. He began having symptoms when he was 46 years old. He saw a cardiologist for over 2 years and was told he was out of shape and there was nothing wrong with his heart. He was diagnosed about 2 years ago with hocm. His symptoms became so severe he was physically limited and could hardly do any activity. He was referred to a hcm specialist in St. Louis and has had septal alcohol ablation last November and is doing very well. His main complaint now is fatigue. Also, his legs hurt at night and he is not able to hold them still when he goes to bed. Would the legs hurting be related to hocm? He is taking 100 mg. of Toprol XL daily.
I would appreciate any insight.
Paula
