    Hi Ralph, Short of Breath.
    Every great thing that has ever happened since the beginning of time has started as a single thought in someones mind.
    So if you are capable of thought then you are capable of great things

          Funny story on that abreviation. I was running a call on an elderly man and he was having chest pain and Shortness of Breath. I was writing the run report and we use lots of abreviations. SOB happened to be one. The man asked to see his report in route and according to HIPPAA we have to show them. Well, he got the wrong idea and got real angry and started smaking me. Thank goodness he was strapped on the stretcher or I would have had problems. He wore himself out and I then explained to him what an SOB was !

            Hey Larry - anytime you want to give a few hours of time to the HCMA - you need not even drive out of your way! I think it would be nice for you to come by the office and help with this project!

            Dx age 12 current age 46 and counting!
            lost: 5 family members to HCM (SCD, Stroke, CHF)
            Others diagnosed living with HCM (or gene +) include - daughter, niece, nephew, cousin, sister and many many friends!
            Therapy - ICD (implanted 97, 01, 04 and 11, medication
            Currently not obstructed
            Complications - unnecessary pacemaker and stroke (unrelated to each other)
