  • Need Help Please

    Hello,
I am having a core biopsy on my right breat tomorrow morning at the Thompson Comprehensive Breast Center. Since this center writes no prescriptions, I was advised to contact my PCP if I felt I needed to be premedicated because of the HOCM. I didn't know if I needed meds or not so I called my PCP. He contacted my cardiologist then returned my call with the information that since this was a sterile procedure I would't need to be premedicated. I guess I just need some reassurance from the experts here on the board. Premedication before sterile procedures or not?
    Thank You
    Joyce
