    have any of you had irregular beats that lasted for over a month and all of a sudden, just stop? or subsided substantially?

    YES... the wonders of HCM?? It can happen.

    YOU can make a difference - all you have to do is try!

    Dx age 12 current age 46 and counting!
    lost: 5 family members to HCM (SCD, Stroke, CHF)
    Others diagnosed living with HCM (or gene +) include - daughter, niece, nephew, cousin, sister and many many friends!
    Therapy - ICD (implanted 97, 01, 04 and 11, medication
    Currently not obstructed
    Complications - unnecessary pacemaker and stroke (unrelated to each other)

      Yes. In fact, this probably prevented me from discovering that I had HCM for a couple of years because once they stopped, I quit trying to find a reason. They were so severe that I fainted twice, but did not worry when they seemed to stop. Thye reoccurred a year later almost to the day.
