  • No symptoms when first diagnosed. How long before symptoms ?

I would like to hear from people that had no symptoms when first diagnosed with HOCM but later developed symptoms. How long after being diagnosed did you develop symptoms? Why do some people never develop symptoms? So far I tire easily , but I never get short of breath.

Re: No symptoms when first diagnosed. How long before sympto

When I was diagnosed at 12 years - I did not think I had any symptoms. I started with some symptoms a few years later and then over my life it slowly change.
However, some people live for 20-30 years with out ny symptoms at all, it is all really a personal issue.
