  • Flu shot

    Well i got my flu shot today and i really feel lousy, i know i need it but, i don't like the affects from it, i was having a good day until i got the shot. Oh well I will feel better tomorrow, i just wanted to say hi to everyone have a good night

    Myectomy 2-23-2004
    Husband: Ken
    Son: John diagnosed 2004
    Daughter: Janet (free of HCM)

    Grandchildren: Drew 15,Aaron 13,Karen 9,Connor 9

    Hi Shirley,

    I totally understand about the flu shot wiping you out. Not only did I get my flu shot in one arm the other week, but at the same time I got a shot of allergy medicine in the other arm. So that night both arms were sore and the next morning, thankfully it was a Saturday, I was completely pooped out. Hopefully by this time tomorrow you will be feeling more energetic again!

      I got my flu shot last month and my pneumonia shot was due too. The pneumonia shot made my arm sore for 2 days. The flu shot made the joints in that arm ache for a few hours.


      Husband has HCM.
      3 kids - ages 23, 21, & 19. All presently clear of HCM.
