    Happy Halloween to all!

This month has been full of activity here! Most of you have received our new enewsletter (which will appear on the website soon for those who did not get an email). Last Friday My sister and Tres. of the board of directors of the HCMA, Lynn, took a trip to Wahsington DC for a meeting run by our good friends at Medtronic Foundation. The meeting was designed for groups like the HCMA to help us build ourselves into larger and better organizations. We learned a great deal and will soon be taking these lessons and putting them into action! Keep your eyes and ears open for some bold new moves from the HCMA!
I am off to Atlanta on Friday and hopefully I will see a few of you at the SADS meeting...some have asked why I am speaking at this event.. It is simple, SADS and HCMA share many goals and by working together we can accomplish far more! SADS will be participating in upcoming HCMA events and we are happy to partner with them to spread the word!
On personal matters...Becca had her cast off last week and is doing just fine. Thanks for all the notes and kind wishes for her! Adam and I are busy with some community affairs and keeping life on track! Stacey has recovered well from her ICD implant, I must say I am proud of her, she was a a trooper! John is student teaching (God help the children of the world )
    Be well!
